By plane: Amerigo Vespucci Airport - Peretola, Florence. The Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is at about 10 km from the airport and can be reached in a few minutes with the shuttle that stops at the railway station (where you can take a bus or a taxi) or directly by taxi (price: about 20-25 ).
