Thanks to the vision and enthusiasm of Count Alberto Bonacossa<\/strong>, a prominent figure in the Italian sporting world, the competition was born at the Milan Tennis Club.<\/p>\n

Initially known as the Internazionali d’Italia di tennis, those early years in Milan laid the foundation for a tournament that was destined to grow in importance and international resonance.<\/p>\n

However, the original venue soon proved inadequate for such a rapidly expanding event.<\/p>\n

Edition number 83 will run along two intense weeks, precisely from Tuesday, April 28 to Sunday, May 17, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n
