For those who arrives from south, leave the A1 motorway at Firenze Sud and go straight on following the signs to the town centre or the Duomo cathedral.
For those who arrives from north, leave the motorway at Firenze Scandicci and follow the sign to the town centre.
The area surrounding the hotel is pedestrianised, but due to an agreement with the parking authorities, our guests are exempt from sanctions and can therefore move freely in the limited traffic zone (ZTL area) to reach Hotel Calzaiuoli.
Please note that Florence has implemented the “Scudo Verde” (Green Shield), an Environmental Limited Traffic Zone that controls entry into the city with electronic gates.
The most polluting vehicles will not be allowed to enter the area (Euro 0, Euro 1, and in the future Euro 2 and 3).

From the central Santa Maria Novella train station you can reach our Hotel in Via de ‘Calzaiuoli by foot in approximately ten minutes.
The distance from Amerigo Vespucci Airport to Hotel Calzaiuoli is about 10 km. There is a tram, the T2 runs between the airport and Santa Maria Novella railway station everyday.
Hotel Calzaiuoli is located a 10 minutes walk away from Santa Maria Novella Railway Station. You can also take a taxi, which has a flat rate for transport to city center.
