Rome Film Festival 2025

The official opening film is La vita va così (That's Life) by Riccardo Milani, presented out of competition in the Grand Public section.
Among the films in competition in the Progressive Cinema section are international titles such as 40 Secondi (40 Seconds) by Vincenzo Alfieri, L'Accident de Piano (The Piano Accident) by Quentin Dupieux, Chang Ye Jiang Jin, and others.

Paola Cortellesi will chair the international jury for the Progressive Cinema section, alongside other Italian and international members.

Running parallel to the festival is Alice nella città, a youth and independent film festival featuring previews, short films, and series, which will also be held from October 15 to 26, 2025.

The Film Festival offers free admission events and paid screenings.
