The 2025/26 Serie A season will end on May 24, 2026: in Rome, matches will be played at the Stadio Olimpico, home to AS Roma and SS Lazio. The match schedules are official, while early/late kickoffs will be confirmed progressively over the coming months.
For big matches and the Derby della Capitale, we recommend arriving in the Flaminio area as early as possible and taking tram 2 from Piazzale Flaminio/Metro A to Piazza Mancini.
The 2025/26 Coppa Italia final is scheduled to take place at the Stadio Olimpico on May 13, 2026 (evening kickoff), in line with the tradition of Rome hosting the cup final.

Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon (October 18, 2026)
Second edition of the new city half marathon: starting at the Circus Maximus and finishing at the Colosseum, with an Expo at Eataly Ostiense in the days leading up to the event.
We Run Rome – 10K & 5K (December 31, 2026)
Italy's most famous New Year's Eve 10K: starting at 2:00 p.m. from the Terme di Caracalla area, route through the historic center. 2025 edition already confirmed and regulations online.
Great clay court tennis returns to the Foro Italico with the ATP/WTA 1000 tournament in Rome. The #IBI26 edition is scheduled, as every year, between the end of April and mid-May 2026 (dates indicated by the tournament's official channels and social media). As per tradition, the Internazionali di Roma will be played before Roland Garros.
This year will see a repeat of the challenge between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.
Athletics events at the Olympic Stadium: the Diamond League (Golden Gala Pietro Mennea) stage often takes place between the end of May and the beginning of June.
