Rome, the Eternal City, continues to enchant visitors from all over the world with its extraordinary cultural, artistic and historical heritage, and the month of March is no exception. The Italian capital will welcome tourists with a wide range of events of great interest and fascination.
In particular, as is already the case every month, on the first Sunday in March, admission to numerous museums and archaeological sites in the city will be free for everyone. On March 1, 2026, anyone will have the opportunity to admire up close the masterpieces housed in some of Rome's most famous and iconic museums and monuments.
It will be possible to explore the Colosseum, admiring up close what was once the arena of ancient gladiatorial spectacles, and get lost among the mighty columns and imposing architecture of the Pantheon, one of the symbols of the city.
But it doesn't end there: the Borghese Gallery will open its doors to show the public its valuable collection of sculptures and paintings, while the Imperial Forums, remnants of ancient Rome, will allow visitors to relive the atmosphere and splendor of an era long gone.
