Check-in at FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo (address: Lungarno del Tempio, 44):
From the A1 motorway, exit at Firenze Sud, continue straight on until you reach the only traffic light, turn left and continue straight on for about 2 km on Lungarno Colombo. Once you arrive at Lungarno del Tempio, the FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is on the right, near the last traffic light that leads to Viale Amendola. A private garage is available next to the hotel for a fee.
FH55 Med Guesthouse is a short walk (5 minutes) or drive (3 minutes) from FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo. Leaving the FH55 Grand Hotel Mediterraneo on the right, continue to the traffic lights on Lungarno del Tempio. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Via Giovanni Amendola and after 140 meters, turn right onto Via Arnolfo. After 350 meters, turn left onto Via del Ghirlandaio and after 110 meters, turn left onto Via Fra’ Giovanni Angelico. After 260 meters, turn left onto Via Cimabue. After 55 meters, you will find FH55 Med Guesthouse on the left.
Please note that Florence has implemented the “Scudo Verde” (Green Shield), an Environmental Limited Traffic Zone that controls entry into the city with electronic gates.
The most polluting vehicles (Euro 0, Euro 1, and in the future Euro 2 and 3) will not be allowed to enter the area.
