For a more traditional way to welcome in the New Year, don’t miss the New Year’s Concert, presented by the Orchestra de I Virtuosi dell’Opera di Roma, with soloists, S. Testa, A. Gentili and M. Utzeri. Meanwhile, the new ballet season of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma continues along the lines of the recent years, underscoring the work to enhance ballet culture by the Corps de Ballet director, Eleonora Abbagnato. For 31 December, The Nutcracker, a grand production faithfully based on Marius Petipa’s original version of the traditional classical ballet with music by Tchaikovsky, awaits you.
